FAQ

What time of day should i plan for?

My favorite time for an outdoor session is between 2 and 2.5 hours before sunset. Depending on the location, this can shift slightly forward or back. I can also do early morning sessions, when the circumstances fit. In-home sessions are typically earlier in the day to take advantage of the best indoor light.

do you offer seasonal mini-session events?

I will start to offer these more and hope to have Spring, Summer, Fall & Christmas oriented sessions planned soon. These will be advertised on social media.

FAQ

How do we receive our images?

High resolution, digital files are included with your session fee or wedding package. I deliver them to you through a personal, online gallery link. You will be able to download the JPEG files to your own devices for safe keeping. The images in your gallery are selected by me >>> I choose the very best from your day/session.

What kind of gear do you use?

I have two Canon R6 cameras. On wedding days, I bring both with me ...along with five lenses to creatively capture your day. I am a natural light photographer and use flash only for wedding receptions.

Will you travel?

I live in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and will travel up to one hour away for portrait sessions. For weddings, I will venture by car to the beautiful NC beaches or mountains. Contact me for more information about travel fees.

Do I have to order prints through you?

You do not have to order your prints through me, but your gallery will be linked to a professional print lab so you can easily order high quality prints, wall art, special occasion cards and albums. Once your gallery is completed, I will also send you a print release so you can use the vendor of your choice.

How do I book with you?

How long does a typical session last?

Full family sessions are typically an hour, but can be as long as two hours depending of the number of people, the location and the stamina of the children. For senior sessions, newborn & engagement sessions, I like to plan for two hours of photo time together. It sounds like a lot, but it goes by really fast!
