AHNNA

I am so excited about Ahnna's senior pictures! I have loved every opportunity to photograph Ahnna and I'm thankful to have had a few of them. She is celebrating an awesome milestone by having these fun pictures made to kick off her senior year of high school. She has a beautiful smile, beautiful eyes {duh} and a beautiful, fun spirit. We enjoyed two great locations, first in the downtown area of her home town and then in a magnificent tobacco field...so very NC. But the vibrant green crop and the stormy sunset were magical when paired with her amazing dress. So needless to say, I am in love with the results. I wish her all the best in the upcoming year <3

BABY J

When you get to photograph a brand new little person, it's the biggest honor to document such a sweet milestone. I enjoyed meeting these guys and getting to spend some time with such a stinkin' cute baby boy <3 We ventured out to HIstoric Oakview Park in Raleigh on an amazingly gorgeous night and I didn't want it to end! Isn't he the cutest thing ever?!?! #love

R FAMILY

I just want to say how much I loved hanging out with these 3 on a cloudy, drizzly morning at this beautiful arboretum! We fretted a little bit about the weather, but it actually turned out perfect because the rain brought out all the beautiful tones of this amazing place and these guys brought the love and smiles. This young man has a joyful heart and that makes picture-taking even more of a blessing! What a great session <3

SAMANTHA & COLTON'S WEDDING

I'm not even sure where to begin with my little summary here . . . I used to say that I could never photograph weddings. I think that was just fear and doubt talking. Then my niece got engaged and she asked if I would be her photographer. She was engaged forever + a year and it seemed easy to say "yes, of course!" with all that time to get prepared. Soooo . . . I needed to shoot some weddings and get some experience! And as I was contemplating how to get on this wedding wagon, I was OUT-OF-THE-BLUE asked to shoot a wedding for a couple from my church. At the same time, an opportunity to take an online class specifically for photographing weddings came up {taught by an AMAZING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER --> BRE THURSTON} This was God working out the details and giving me the courage to go forward. And I've shot several weddings since. And I've loved them all! But to say how thankful I am to be Samantha & Colton's photographer is an understatement. I'm incredibly blessed and humbled to have been there, front and center, working to capture their wedding moments . . . and there were so many sweet moments <3 Seriously. These two were MFEO!
